NEW SERIES
Adelaide Fringe Concerts 2025
A new series exploring the origins of the string quartet. From Alessandro Scarlatti’s Sonate a quattro (published in 1725), specifically marked ‘senza cembalo’ (without harpsichord), arguably the first ‘string quartets’ we go back and forwards in time to trace the development and maturity of the form.
